John and Jean….37 years on.

This couple decided to renew their vows on Jeans 60th Birthday. The weather was not too good although the couples family ensured that the day was very special.

I was asked to photograph the christening of these twins. I have previously photographed the parents wedding and the brides sisters wedding as well. The event took place in Hatfield and it was a nice reunion with “old” faces.

Emma and Xavier wedding day

Windy, some rain and a bit overcast, although none of this dampened the marriage of this couple.  The wedding was officiated by the Reverend Catherine Pennington at All Saints Church in Nazeing. The reception took place in a Marquee in Emmas mothers garden.

Xavier’s friends and relations travelled over from France for the wedding.

This lovely couple are due to get married in September. This shot was taken in the brides mums garden which holds many memories for Emma as she grew up her from childhood.

early retirement party

Held at 4 Millbank opposite the Houses of Parliament (well, almost…give or take 50 yards) Sue worked for the same company for 29 years and gained much respect in her time there. The farewell party brought people from around the globe to wish her well.

A busy period

Not photographically in many senses although is visually, recently my corporate side has really kicked in. This has kept me moderately quiet with general photography for the last 3 years although is now past its peak.

Hazel and Davids 25th wedding celebrations

In 2006 I photographed the wedding of one of this couples daughters and was happy to hear that they wanted me to photograph their 25th anniversary celebrations at the Blakemore Hotel in Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire.

It was a great night arranged by their two daughters and son.

Opening blog entry

Hi. I am a long term creative professional photographer and lighting director. I am involved in several strands of stills photography and some motion work too. Over the years I have worked on image creation projects with Government and opposition leaders and foreign diplomats. I have also worked directly with several well known music artistes.

My preferred strand remains wedding photography. I get a greater buzz from that than anything else I have ever done.
